I mostly sit around all day and drink tea. Occasionally, I write stuff and send it to strangers so they can humiliate me and deride my efforts. Other than the self-harm to dull the shame of failure, it's not a bad life. Like I say, there's tea.

Sounded kind of familiar. Google tells me it’s from Conan The Barbarian. A film I’ve never seen. So how come I’ve heard this before? Did Conan ‘borrow’ that from someone? Wonder if it’s from an Asterix comic… ;-)
Conan doesn’t borrow, Conan takes what he wants and chews out your spleen if you get in his way.
I’m relatively sure the quote has taken a small place in pop culture outside of the film itself. It might have been in the comics too – not sure about that one.
